Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Strathcona County is cancelling one evacuation alert.
A large grass fire is now under control. Crews will remain on scene overnight.
Area: This alert is for everyone in the area between west of Highway 21 and east of Range Road 232, and south of Township Road 522 and north of Highway 14. This includes Silver Birch Estates and Colchester Lane.
Affected areas (1):
- Strathcona County
Action to take:
- Be aware, the evacuation order for everyone in the area between south of Township Road 540 and north of Township Road 534; and east of Range Road 221 and west of Range Road 215, remains in place
- This includes Pleasant View Estates and Newton Estates
- Watch the Strathcona County website and social media for the most up to date information
- Be ready to evacuate in case conditions change.
