Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Train Accident Alert
There is a train derailment approximately half a kilometer Northwest of Ensign. There are 39 cars impacted that were carrying residual amounts of Anhydrous Ammonia or Liquid Petroleum. CP Rail is managing the situation, and NO evacuations are required. Local roadways are not impacted. CP will be flaring the impacted rail cars throughout the day and expect to have the rail service resuming by 5pm.
