In consultation with Alberta Health Services (AHS), the boil water advisory has been lifted for all affected areas in North Okotoks. Households are required to flush, clean and sanitize all personal water systems and appliances before resuming regular water use.

• Okotoks

Action to take:

• Turn on all taps
• Flush water lines for a minimum of five minutes
• (Ten minutes for apartments.)
• Read manufacturers instructions to flush, clean, sanitize containers that protect/store drinking water, water filters, ice and water dispensers
• Drain and refill hot water tanks that are set below 45 degrees Celsius
• Run water softeners through a regeneration cycle
