A boil water advisory remains in effect for Fort Vermilion. The water may be unsafe to drink or use due to the Peace River Ice Jam flooding. The flooding has caused a disruption in water supply for the hamlet of Fort Vermilion. Both Fort Vermilion truck fill stations remain closed. The water supply for La Crete has been restored and the La Crete area truck fills are operational.

All potable water truck fill stations in the Fort Vermilion area remain closed. Only use water for essential uses such as cooking and personal hygiene. Go to www.mackenziecounty.com/peace-river-ice-jam-flood-information for more information.
