Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Water Supply and Quality Alert Updated
The drinking water for Fort Vermilion may be unsafe to drink or use, due to the Peace River Ice Jam flooding. The flooding has caused a disruption in water supply for the hamlets of Fort Vermilion and La Crete. The raw and treated water truck fill station in La Crete, the Buffalo Head Prairie and both Fort Vermilion truck fill stations are closed until further notice.
All potable water truck fill stations in the Fort Vermilion and La Crete area are closed until further notice, including the raw water truck fill in La Crete.
