Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert In Cypress County
There is a wildfire north of Highway 1, and west of Highway 884 in the vicinity of the hamlet of Suffield.
The wildfire is burning approximately 3 to 4 kilometres north of Highway 1, and 4 kilometres to the west of Highway 884. Cypress County and neighboring municipal emergency and fire Services are presently on scene. As a result of smoke and high wind velocities, visibility in this area is reduced.
