Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert Updated

Update 2: The Mackenzie County Evacuation Order remains in place as a wildfire continues to burn in the area.

Evacuees should register at the Reception Centres at the La Crete Heritage Centre at 15411 – 1060 or the Fort Vermillion Community Cultural Complex located at 5001 – 44 Ave. A number of highways and roads in the area of the wildfires are closed due to smoke and dangerous driving conditions.
