There is an incident that has affected telephone and cell phone communications in the area surrounding the Hamlet of Sangudo. Communication services are being restored by TELUS and are expected to be complete in all areas by early next week.

Severe damages have occurred to the telephone and cell phone communication system in the area of the Hamlet of Sangudo, and a large service area surrounding the Hamlet. TELUS is reporting restoration of cellular service and Internet service to be nearly complete. Land line services are now actively being restored. All services will be available by early next week across all affected areas. TELUS will continue to make more robust repairs over the next several weeks as required.

• Minor disruptions may still occur after restoration of services but is expected to improve as the system is fully repaired over the next several weeks
