Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Hazardous Road Condition Alert for parts of Yellowhead County due to extremely icy conditions. Updated
Roads have become extremely hazardous in parts of Yellowhead County. Icy road conditions have caused several vehicle incidents and anyone driving is urged to slow down and to drive with caution. Emergency response vehicles are attending to numerous incidents. Anyone needing to travel should carry emergency supplies.
Roads are being sanded in the affected areas. Edson is sanding sidewalks, but are extremely hazardous at the moment. Go to www.511.alberta.ca for up to date Road Report information.
