Description: Alberta Emergency Alert: Overland Flow Flood Alert Updated
Melting snow continues to cause flooding in Greenview resulting in road closures. Overland flooding is moving from the north to southeast affecting New Fish Creek, Sunset House, Sweathouse and the Valleyview rural area. Localized flooding is also reported in DeBolt, Ridgevalley, Puskwaskau and Little Smoky. Barricades and signs are being placed at affected locations and sandbags are available.
Call Operations at 780-524-7602 to report new roads that are flooded or pick up sand bags. Go to www.mdgreenview.ab.ca for a list and map of affected roads. Road closure locations and further updates will be posted on Greenview's website as they become available.

- Use alternate routes and obey posted signs
- Do not bypass or move barricades or travel through water covered roads as there may be hidden hazards including washouts and erosion
