Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Winter Storm Alert
Heavy snowfall and blowing snow are creating hazardous conditions throughout the entire County of Forty Mile. Visibility has been significantly reduced. Drifting snow and poor visibility may cause hazardous driving conditions.
The winter storm has left many roads within the County of Forty Mile in whiteout conditions. Travel on these roads may not be possible. Heavy snow, wind and overcast sky conditions are making the road surface difficult to see. Crews have been working to clear roads but this may take a couple of days. Travel is not advised until conditions improve. Emergency Services may be affected by a delayed response.
