Alberta on the Road to 2010

days until Olympic Games
days until Paralympic Games

As the light of the Olympic flame grows stronger, Alberta is eager to welcome the world to Canada, to celebrate with our fellow Canadians, and to showcase the unending opportunities and promise our province and people have to offer.

The Road to 2010

The Olympic and Paralympic Games are an invitation to dream and to gather in a common spirit to achieve.  Vancouver has invited the country to join together, to share the benefits and truly make these ‘Canada’s Games’.

The road to 2010 runs through our province and in just a few short weeks we will welcome the Olympic Torch Relay and host the world’s top athletes during eight pre-Olympic events.  During the Games we will celebrate our people, showcase our culture and create opportunities for our future beyond 2010.
