Selected from over 120 nominees, award recipients were recognized for the significant role they play in young children’s lives. Nominees work in child care, early childhood development programs and services, and in Parent Link Centres.

Recipients came from communities across the province, including Calgary, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Jasper and Sherwood Park.
The 10th annual awards recognize the best of Alberta’s early childhood educators and programs licensed by Human Services and Education. Awards are given to individuals, teams and for programs, and recipients were selected for their leadership, creativity, innovation and collaborative approaches to their work.

Human Services hosted the awards, which were supported by CTV Two Television and Wintergreen Learning Materials.
