Workers will improve four intersections and rehabilitate pavement and a bridge deck on Highway 2 north of Highway 49. This project will use recycled asphalt to provide a safer and smoother ride along this important highway at a cost of approximately $11 million.

May 20 to October 15

Traffic will be reduced to alternating single-lane traffic in construction zones controlled by traffic lights or flagpersons. Hours of operation will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Depending on traffic, minor delays may be expected.

Speed limits will be reduced to 80 km/h or 50 km/h, depending on the work being completed. The project is expected to be completed by October 15, weather permitting.
