“I am delighted to join AHS staff in welcoming Ms. Vickie Kaminski, who will commence her duties on June 2, as the new President and CEO of Alberta Health Services.
“Ms. Kaminski brings with her over 35 years of experience, most recently as President and Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Regional Health Authority in Newfoundland and Labrador.
“I know that Ms. Kaminski shares my view that the most important role of the CEO and AHS’ senior management team is to ensure that our front-line health care workers have the support they need to continue to focus on what’s most important – patients."
