Alberta Culture Days 2013 - Wood Buffalo

Alberta Culture Days is an annual three-day celebration that promotes the value of culture and encourages participation in local cultural experiences in communities across Alberta.

Up to $20,000 is available to interested communities who want to be designated a Feature Celebration Site; and up to $5,000 to those wanting to be designated a Host Celebration Site. For the first time, a special $500 grant is also available for up to 10 applicants wishing to host a one-day event. The deadline to apply is April 28.

“Culture matters to our communities and to our province as a whole. It matters in the lives of Albertans today and to the generations to come. I’m pleased the Government of Alberta is once again able to provide seed money to help grow Alberta Culture Days and provide Albertans with unique access points to local culture.”

- Heather Klimchuk, Minister of Culture
