The Alberta Community Justice Awards recognize the outstanding achievements of volunteers involved in community safety, crime prevention and the criminal justice system.

The Alberta Community Justice Awards acknowledge the people behind innovative community projects that emphasize problem-solving of neighbourhood concerns, citizen participation and improved quality of life for Albertans. Individuals and groups who contribute to victims services, youth justice committees, restorative justice programs and traditional crime prevention efforts may be recognized.

The Alberta Community Justice Awards ceremony will take place May 9 in Calgary. The event will be co-hosted by the Government of Alberta and the Lethbridge Police Service.

To nominate a community leader, submit the completed application form by February 7.
