Prior to police arriving, a vehicle left the location and was pursued by members of the Medicine Hat Police Service. The suspect vehicle exited the Medicine Hat City limits and proceeded west on Hwy. 1. Members of the RCMP took over the responsibility for the pursuit. The suspect vehicle was involved in a serious collision near Redcliff, Alberta.
As police officers may have been involved, ASIRT has been assigned to investigate the circumstances. The ASIRT investigation is ongoing.
