This release was issued under a previous government.

Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development and Alberta Health Services have been working with Brero Holdings Ltd. and Robert Bresciani, owners and operators of Les’ Trailer Court, to bring the drinking water and wastewater systems into compliance. While the wastewater system has been operating under a government-issued approval, the owners have no authorization to be withdrawing groundwater to service the trailer court.

Under the order, Brero Holdings and Bresciani have three options to come into compliance for drinking water. All options ensure that the owner provides a safe source of drinking water for the trailer court residents. Brero Holdings and Bresciani must advise government of their intention to abide by one of the three options by December 6.

Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development focuses on education, prevention and enforcement to ensure all Albertans continue to enjoy a clean and healthy environment. When individuals or companies fail to comply with legislation, government has a range of options, depending on the offence. Enforcement orders are issued under the authority of Alberta's Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act and Water Act to ensure immediate action is taken to correct a situation.
