For one night, starting at 11 p.m. on Aug. 31, northbound Deerfoot Trail lanes will be closed in the vicinity of the interchange and traffic will be detoured onto the interchange ramps and then back down to northbound Deerfoot Trail. The detour will be in effect until 7:30 a.m. Sept. 1.

For one night, starting at 11 p.m. on Sept. 1, southbound Deerfoot Trail lanes will be closed in the vicinity of the interchange and traffic will be detoured onto the interchange ramps and then back down to southbound Deerfoot Trail. The detour will be in effect until 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 2.

The detours accommodate repairs and an overlay of the interchange’s eastbound bridge deck. The detours also protect the travelling public from potential falling debris from the activities on the bridge deck above.

Motorists should use caution in the area and obey all signs, message boards, and flag people when travelling near and in the detour area. Motorists are reminded that fines for speeding are doubled through construction zones when workers are present.
