This release was issued under a previous government.
Traffic had been reduced to two lanes and a 50 km/h speed limit since late May to accommodate concrete overlays of both bridge decks.
Motorists are further advised there may be nighttime lane closures and speed reductions in the area for the rest of the week to accommodate line painting and other finishing activities. Motorists should use caution in the area and obey all signs, message boards, and flag people. Motorists are reminded that fines for speeding are doubled through construction zones when workers are present.
