Federal-provincial child care agreement

On November 15, 2021, the Alberta and federal governments announced an agreement to reduce child care fees by an average of 50% in early 2022 and to provide $10 per day fees, on average, by 2026. Learn more about this historic agreement.

Overview

The online Child Care Claims Program (C3P) allows licensed child care programs and licensed family day home agencies to submit their monthly claim online for all subsidy and wage top-up funding.

Submit a claim

Submit monthly claims for all subsidy, wage top-up and professional development payments:

Get a username and password

Each program must ensure a staff member is made responsible for entering the monthly claim form into the online system. This individual must first get a username and password.

When a staff member no longer requires access, they must be removed from the system.

Follow these steps to get a username and password for the system or to remove a user from the system.

Step 1. Fill out the form

Fillable PDF forms do not open properly on some mobile devices and web browsers. To fill in and save the form:

  1. Save the PDF form to your computer – click or right-click the link and download the form.
  2. Open the PDF form with Adobe Reader. Fill it in and save it.

If you need to adjust information on your claim after submitting it or requesting a missed payment, follow these steps:
