Purpose: Albertans are invited to give their input on proposed standards governing child care licensed by the province, including day care, out-of-school care and nursery school programs.

How to participate:
  • Online: Go to www.child.gov.ab.ca/childcare, read the Building Quality Child Care Together discussion guide and complete the questionnaire.
  • Pick-up: The discussion guide and questionnaire are available at Child and Family Services Authority offices throughout the province.
  • Mail: Completed questionnaires can be mailed to:

  • In Person: Consultation sessions will be held across the province. 
  • Phone: Call the Parent Information Line at 1-866-714-KIDS to obtain the discussion guide, questionnaire and information session dates and locations.
