Purpose: A review of the regulation is underway to ensure it remains current and appropriately addresses issues respecting the auction industry.

How to participate

As part of the review, a consultation document has been developed to gather input from auction stakeholders and consumers on a number of issues. 

The issues deal with the qualifications and potential licensing of auctioneers, trust account requirements, auction bidding practices, auction business security amounts and private/members only auctions, among others.
