HONOURABLE MR. DANYLUK 541/2009 MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACT (section 602.02) - Makes the Vauxhall and District Regional Water Services Commission Regulation. Establishes the Vauxhall and District Regional Water Services Commission consisting of the Municipal District of Taber and the Town of Vauxhall to provide water treatment and transmission services. HONOURABLE MR GROENEVELD 542/2009 MARKETING OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS ACT (section 23) - Makes the Alberta Elk Plan Amendment Regulation to reduce the number of electoral regions from seven to six; enable a third term for a board member; modify eligibility requirements and election procedures; allow for more than two honorary members; change the fiscal year end from April to December; remove transitional provisions; and set a new review date. HONOURABLE MR. HORNER 543/2009 ATHABASCA UNIVERSITY REGULATION (sections 3 and 4) - Reappoints John Trefanenko as a member of The Athabasca University Governing Council for a term to expire on November 3, 2012. 544/2009 POST-SECONDARY LEARNING ACT (sections 16 and 56) - Reappoints Richard A. Shaw and Linda E. H. Black as members of The Board of Governors of Mount Royal University, each for a term to expire on November 3, 2012. 545/2009 POST-SECONDARY LEARNING ACT (sections 44 and 56) - Reappoints John H. Wilson as a member and redesignates him as chair of The Board of Governors of Keyano College; and reappoints George McGuigan as a member, each for a term to expire on November 3, 2012. HONOURABLE MRS. JABLONSKI 546/2009 PROTECTION FOR PERSONS IN CARE ACT (section 9) - Makes the Protection for Persons in Care Amendment Regulation to extend the expiry date from November 30, 2009 to November 30, 2010. HONOURABLE MR. KNIGHT 547/2009 MINES AND MINERALS ACT (sections 5 and 36) - Makes the New Well Royalty Reduction Amendment Regulation. 548/2009 MINES AND MINERALS ACT (section 36) - Makes the Ammonite Shell Amendment Regulation to extend the expiry date from December 31, 2009 to November 30, 2016. HONOURABLE DR. MORTON 549/2009 PUBLIC LANDS ACT (section 7) - Authorizes the Minister of Sustainable Resource Development to sell certain public land to the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo for $8 800 000. HONOURABLE MS REDFORD 550/2009 COURT OF QUEEN’S BENCH ACT (section 20) - Makes the Surrogate Rules Amendment Regulation. 551/2009 JUSTICE OF THE PEACE ACT (section 7.1) - Reappoints Malcolm Alexander Brown as a justice of the peace and redesignates him as a full-time sitting justice of the peace for a term of one year to expire on November 15, 2010. 552/2009 PROVINCIAL COURT ACT (section 9.23) - Reappoints Judge Ronald Alan Jacobson as a judge of The Provincial Court of Alberta for a term of one year to expire on November 6, 2010.
