Stoney Trail's northern section opens to traffic in Calgary
Calgary... Motorists are advised that the new northern section of the Stoney Trail ring road in Calgary will open to traffic by 3 p.m. on Nov. 2.
The new section includes Stoney Trail from Harvest Hills Boulevard to 17 Avenue SE.
Though the road is open to traffic, construction activities will continue. Motorists should use caution in construction areas and obey all signs, message boards, and flag people. Motorists are reminded that fines for speeding are doubled through construction zones when workers are present.
