HONOURABLE MR. BLACKETT 528/2009HISTORICAL RESOURCES ACT (section 38) - Designates Dr. Carolee Pollock as chair, and effective January 1, 2010 reappoints her as a director of The Alberta Historical Resources Foundation for a term to expire on December 31, 2012.

529/2009LOCAL AUTHORITIES ELECTION ACT (section 160) - Makes the Calgary Election Regulation to provide for the electronic request system that will handle the special ballots and generate the special ballot elector register. The expiry date of this Regulation is October 31, 2012.
530/2009LOCAL AUTHORITIES ELECTION ACT (section 160) - Makes the Edmonton Election Amendment Regulation to extend the expiry date to October 31, 2012 and to repeal a small number of sections and subsections that are no longer required.
531/2009MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACT (sections 125 and 138) - Orders the separation of certain land from Red Deer County and the annexation of that land, approximately 3029 hectares (7485 acres), to the City of Red Deer, effective September 1, 2009. The proposed annexation will provide the City with the land required to plan for and attract residential, commercial and industrial development for the next 20 to 30 years.
532/2009SAFETY CODES ACT (section 65) - Makes the Certification and Permit Regulation.
533/2009SPECIAL AREAS ACT (section 5) - Makes the Special Areas Disposition Amendment Regulation to extend the expiry date to October 31, 2014.

535/2009POST-SECONDARY LEARNING ACT (section 73); FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION ACT (section 81) - Approves the borrowing by The Governors of The University of Alberta from the Alberta Capital Finance Authority of not more than $25 000 000 in Canadian funds for a term not to exceed 30 years and at an interest rate not to exceed 6.5% per annum to design and construct the East Campus Village Graduate Student Housing project.

539/2009FORESTS ACT (section 46) - Makes the Forest Recreation Amendment Regulation to extend the expiry date from November 1, 2009 to November 1, 2012.
HONOURABLE MR. OUELLETTE 540/2009PUBLIC WORKS ACT (section 31) - Declares the lands related to the construction of the Southeast Stoney Trail to be a public work and designates the Minister of Infrastructure as the Minister having control over the lands.
