Premier Stelmach congratulates Gary Doer
Edmonton... Premier Ed Stelmach congratulated outgoing Manitoba Premier Gary Doer on his appointment as the next Canadian Ambassador to the United States.
“Prime Minister Stephen Harper has made an excellent decision to pick Gary Doer as the next Canadian Ambassador to the United States,” said Premier Stelmach. “Premier Doer’s experience and leadership in Manitoba will serve him well in his new role representing Canadian interests in Washington. I congratulate Premier Doer on this new opportunity and look forward to continuing both our professional relationship and our friendship in the months and years ahead.”
