Information session on electricity transmission held in Fort Saskatchewan

Edmonton...
Albertans living in Fort Saskatchewan are invited to attend a public information session on Tuesday, August 4 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to learn more details on Alberta’s electricity system and the plan for transmission line upgrades across the province.

The session will be held at The Pantry, 8770 - 84 Street. It is one of 20 open houses being held across the province in July and August to share information and receive comments about the provincial plan to keep the lights on.

Critical transmission infrastructure upgrades are needed to continue delivering the power Albertans need at home and for work. Information on the provincial plan for transmission is available at www.energy.alberta.ca. Comments may also be submitted online starting July 27.
