For the Record

CBC 'secret' report was on Government website

On Monday, November 24, CBC News reported that it had a secret government document that revealed that capturing greenhouse gases from Western Canada's oil sands will be much more difficult than the public had been told. The report implied that elected officials were actively misleading the public, and that this information had been kept secret by the Government of Alberta.

For the record:
The exact information contained in the CBC’s document was published months earlier by the Government of Alberta, with prominent links to the Jan. 9, 2008 report, on the Government’s main Carbon Capture and Storage website.
