A year-long celebration
Albertans will join fellow Canadians from coast-to-coast this year to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. There will be events and celebrations to honour Her Majesty's 60 remarkable years of service as Queen of Canada.

The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee commemorative medal marks the 60th anniversary of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada. 60,000 deserving Canadians are being recognized with the medal during the year. These Albertan recipients are among them.
