Doctor
Alberta is a great place for nurses to live and work. Alberta’s registered nurses have the broadest scope of practice and were among the highest paid in Canada in 2023.

Nurses also enjoy expanded opportunities for career growth here. Nurse Practitioners are paid and supported by government to start their own clinics or join established clinics to provide primary care support to Albertans who need it.

Plus, Alberta has one of the shortest LPN bridges to BSc Nursing programs in the country – making it easier to get the education you need for the career you’ve chosen.
