Halloween at McDougall Centre

The visitors enjoyed Halloween treats with the Premier and other members of government.

“Halloween is a day of fun for children and their families, a chance for them to meet their neighbours and to celebrate community. Strong community bonds are crucial to all families, no less for those in difficulty. Karen and I had fun, sharing this day with kids from Inn From the Cold, helping them to make it special. McDougall Centre has never been so scary!”

Jim Prentice, Premier

The Halloween event at McDougall Centre is part of the Premier’s commitment to increasing public engagement at the government’s Southern Alberta office. Last month, community advocate Emma May began work as Executive Director at McDougall Centre to help further that commitment.

“I want Albertans to know that this building, like our government, belongs to them.”
