This release was issued under a previous government.
The current three-span bridge was built in 1959 and is showing signs of age, so to be proactive, replacement with a steel pipe culvert is necessary.
The project will cost approximately $700,000 and should be completed by October 15, 2014 weather permitting.
July 31 to October 15
- Speed will be reduced to 50 km/h when workers are present, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
- Traffic will be reduced to a single alternating lane controlled by traffic lights.
- Depending on traffic, motorists should expect minor delays.
