The new Transfer Alberta Mobile App makes it easier for students to get current and accurate information about courses or programs that can transfer for credit between participating Alberta post-secondary institutions, as well as high school upgrading and out-of-province course equivalencies.

Having readily available information on what courses and programs can transfer or course equivalencies exist, will help students better plan their post-secondary enrolment, saving them time, money and frustration.

This information has been available previously on the Transfer Alberta website, but the goal of the new app is to make it easier and more convenient. The Alberta transfer system includes approximately 33,000 active transfer agreements between 39 Alberta transfer system institutions, including all publicly-funded institutions, First Nations colleges, and various private-not-for profit and out-of-province institutions.

The new app was developed in partnership with Innovation and Advanced Education and The Alberta Council on Admissions and Transfer. The Council oversees and provides advice regarding student pathways and the admissions and transfer system. It supports post-secondary institutions that lead the development of transfer agreements for identified courses and programs. These agreements support the movement of thousands of students each year through Campus Alberta and beyond.

The Transfer Alberta Mobile App is available from the Transfer Alberta website, Alberta mobile application page, Apple and Google Play stores for both iOS and Android operating systems.
