“The Ethics Commissioner’s dismissal of complaints today has reinforced that the actions taken by the provincial government during this period were advanced properly and without issue. She has been clear that our actions were fully appropriate and consistent with applicable legislation and codes of conduct.
“I would like to thank the Ethics Commissioner for her professionalism in these investigations. I am pleased that they have been resolved.
“I cannot comment on the ongoing investigation into activities by Education Minister Gordon Dirks, as it deals with different issues and has not concluded at this time.”
