511 Alberta

“The addition of the Jasper roads to 511 Alberta makes a great service even better. Having access to road reports for Jasper National Park will help drivers make informed travel decisions when heading to the mountains this winter.”

Wayne Drysdale, Minister of Transportation

Up-to-date reports on all the major roads in Jasper National Park will provide motorists with single-click access to road conditions inside and outside the park. Albertans will find regularly updated reports for Maligne Road, Marmot Road and Whistlers Road, among others, making it easier to travel to key tourist destinations such as Marmot Basin and Maligne Canyon.

Since its launch in February 2013, 511 Alberta has quickly become the province’s official source of road reports with close to 1.9 million visitors to the website and 37,100 followers on Twitter.

Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 511 Alberta provides reliable road report data around the clock. By dialing 5-1-1 in Alberta, visiting 511.alberta.ca, or following @511Alberta on Twitter, Albertans can access provincial highway network road report information any time they need it.
