Albertans who had court matters scheduled during the Calgary power outage on Tuesday, October 14, Wednesday, October 15, and Thursday, October 16, and who did not appear the following week as scheduled, are reminded they are rescheduled for Thursday, November 6.

Provincial Court Criminal

Matters will be heard on Thursday, November 6 in Courtroom 1406 at 9:30 a.m. Failure to appear on this date may result in a warrant for arrest. Individuals who have questions about their court matter may call 403-297-2242.

Provincial Court Traffic

Matters will be heard on Thursday, November 6 in Courtroom 908 at 9:30 a.m. Failure to appear on this date may result in a warrant for arrest or a conviction in absence. Individuals who have questions about their court appearance may call 403-297-2283.

Provincial Court Youth

Matters will be heard on Thursday, November 6 in Courtroom 303 at 9:30 a.m. Failure to appear on this date may result in a warrant for arrest or a conviction in absence. Individuals who have questions about their court appearance may call 403-297-3473.

Calgary Hearing Office

Has re-located back to the Calgary Courts Centre. Individuals with questions about hearing matters may call 403-297-4444.

For Provincial Courts at the Calgary Courts Centre, approximately 253 adult criminal matters, 4,379 traffic ticket matters, 50 youth matters and 30 civil matters were adjourned during the power outage that kept the Calgary Court Centre closed for three days.
