Over the next few weeks, workers will close eastbound Yellowhead Trail and the CN Rail crossing at Meridian Street to construct bridges. 

October 31 to November 10

Eastbound Yellowhead Trail will be closed overnight during these times:

  • Friday, October 31, 11:00 p.m. to Saturday, November 1, 9:00 a.m.,
  • Saturday, November 1, 9:00 p.m. to Sunday, November 2, 9:00 a.m.,
  • Sunday, November 2, 9:00 p.m. to Monday, November 3, 5:00 a.m.,
  • Monday, November 3 to Thursday, November 6 from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.,
  • Friday, November 7, 11:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 9:00 a.m.,
  • Saturday, November 8, 9:00 p.m. to Sunday, November 2, 9:00 a.m.

Detour

Travellers will take the ramp connecting eastbound Yellowhead Trail to southbound Anthony Henday Drive and turn left to northbound Anthony, then exit back onto eastbound Yellowhead Trail.

October 28 to November 22

Meridian Street will be closed nightly at the CN Rail crossing at these times:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.,
  • Saturday to Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Detour

Travellers will exit onto westbound Yellowhead Trail to access Hayter Road. There will be no access north of the railroad tracks on Meridian Street.

  • Fines for speeding double in construction zones.
