As part of a new bridge over the Heart River, crews will need to realign traffic patterns, widen the roadway and demolish the old bridge. Depending on traffic, motorists should expect delays of up to 40 minutes.

This work will improve motorist safety and reduce congestion at a cost of approximately $10 million and should be completed by September 15, 2014 weather permitting.

July 25 to September 15

This will reduce traffic to a single alternating lane 3.5 metres in width, controlled by traffic signals. Speed will be reduced to 50 km/h due to narrow lane widths, sharp shoulders, and work near the roadway.
