Workers will chip seal eastbound lanes on Highway 43. This project will extend road life and provide smoother travel for Albertans. This approximately $1.5 million project should be completed by August 31, weather permitting.

July 23 to August 31

Traffic will be routed onto westbound lanes guided by pilot vehicles and flag persons. Speed will be reduced to 80 km/h in the construction zone, and 50 km/h when workers are present. Wide loads will be accommodated but may experience delays. Depending on traffic, motorists should expect minor delays.

Additional information

  • Fines for speeding double in construction zones.
  • Motorists are reminded to obey all flag persons, signs and signals and watch for construction equipment.
