This release was issued under a previous government.

The ramp that connects from westbound Yellowhead Trail to southbound Anthony Henday Drive will be closed Tuesday, April 8 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, April 9.

During Tuesday night’s closure, a 25-foot-wide by 30-foot-tall crane –almost the height of two giraffes – will travel at a speed of less than 1 km/hr from a construction site at Broadmoor Boulevard to another work site at Yellowhead Trail.

This closure takes place over night in order to minimize traffic impact on travellers.
